I am a Konkani from Udupi area brought up in mumbai. studied Bachelors and Post Grad. in Pharmacy from Manipal College of Pharmacy between year 1994 and 2001. Seeing the pics really made me nostalgic except for MIT campus and likes. That said someone like me or my generation will get bonkers if someone posts pictorial of Kalsanka back then and now – Will be a real nostalgic moment
Hi Deepak,
Kalsanka has changed drastically, Yes! Unfortunately, finding pictures of that place is very difficult as no one thought it is an important place to be pictured at!

Awesome college. We learned and enjoyed a lot in our college days.
Hi all manipalites. Nice remembrances of manipal.I am pharmacy graduate from 80 84 batch. wish to say the first circle is called the tiger circle. It was never a sleepy place as written by the author. Even in our times the canteens nd eat outs in tiger circle were open till midnight or even 1am.
Hi,
Thank you for the comment. The first photo in this article is not tiger circle, but Syndicate circle. It came up much later at the entrance of Manipal from Udupi.
