Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore as we all know is the hub of activity-both academic and non-academic. And as one of the best colleges in India it boasts of hosting seminars, conferences and meets all round the year.
Not long ago, the college hosted a seminar on Forensic Medicine-“Forensic MEDICON” which was a grand success. The conference brought in forensic giants from all round the globe to discuss the latest developments in the field of forensic medicine. It was soon followed by a seminar on geriatrics, the MEDICON and CMI on RABIES.

And same goes for non-academic events. The college takes part in various sports and cultural events. Spandan , Utsav, Vibes, Pulse, Pegasus…the list simply doesn’t seem to end.
The college hosts the Interclass which is an epic battle between the different batches studying in medical and paramedical courses. The UGs, PGs and Interns strive for glory and we vow to bring to you the latest in such on and off campus events.
KMC never holds itself back when it comes to celebrating festivals. As a new batch arrives it is greeted with Ganesh Chaturthi which is celebrated in great fervour as the students dance to the tune of drums, as a procession is carried out from the Light House. Soon after the KMC Greens hosts Diwali and the college celebrates Christmas too with unmatched enthusiasm. The hostelites in different hostels alike rock the Holi too.
And when it comes to bidding an adieu to the outgoing batch, KMC does it in style. And the TMA Pai Convention Centre once again is a host to colleges prestigious Convocation Ceremony.
