It’s been quite a while since I saw her. The easy smile that fills my heart with unending joy and relieves me of my burdens. I met her about 4 years ago, right around the time, all my troubles began. She’s been a great support to me through all my trials and tribulations.
It was about a year and a half back, that I bid adieu to her and headed out to try something new. We never lost touch though, catching up over the phone or online, whenever she could manage. The occasional meet ups when I passed through her town. But it was never the same.
We met 5 days back after a long time. My counselling went fine and I’ve secured a seat at a prestigious South-Indian university, quite near her hometown. She was there, to help me go through this, yet again. I love her a lot!
