A delegation of students and faculty members of Manipal University left for a Europe study tour earlier this week. As part of their Masters course in European Studies and Management, this year’s batch of students and faculty members have taken off to Europe. Their itinerary includes visits to Hochschule Bremen, Freie University Berlin (Germany) and Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen (The Netherlands) and Group T International University, Leuven (Belgium). The students and the accompanying members of faculty are also scheduled to visit ffices of Mercedes, Volkswagon and Airbus.
About the importance of this study tour Dr. Neeta Inamdar says, “This trip will play a crucial role in our students’ understanding of international and European business environments. This will also be a wonderful platform for exchange of ideas in supporting Small Scale Industries in and around Manipal and enhance their cooperation with similar SMEs in Europe.”
Manipal Centre for European Studies already has established long standing relationships with over ten universities in Europe. This trip will strengthen these relationships and help gain mutual benefit for our students.
