Green Marathon by Volunteer Service Organisation Manipal – A Photo Feature

The event saw enthusiastic participation from the Girls of various institutes of Manipal University as well!

The Volunteer Services Organisation (VSO), Manipal University organised a Green Marathon, in association with the organising committee for Revels 2012, Manipal Institute of Technology on March 25th  2012.  Here are a few pictures from the event.

And off they Go! - Revels 2012 with VSO, Manipal University conducted this event - The Green Marathon
As many as 80 students took part in this event
It was a 4.1 Km run across some major landmarks in Manipal

It was conducted to create awareness about the environment as well as to publicise the theme of Revels 2012 (Go Green).
The event saw enthusiastic participation from the Girls of various institutes of Manipal University as well!

The participants ran a distance of around 4.1 km starting from Kamath Circle (KC) and back, passing the .edu building, Marena, and main entrance of MIT.
And the Winner is??!! All the participants are congratulated and the winner basks in the adulation at Kamath Circle Manipal after the Run . . .
