You think red
Maybe its love which drives you insane
But maybe you are bleeding with relentless pain
They would never know what you feel
You think blue
Maybe you are thinking of flying into the sky, to sing and dance in the rain
But maybe you are in one of your blue moods again
They would never know what you feel
You think green
You think peace, of greenery, of a world so serene
But maybe you are pea green with jealousy
They would never know what you feel
You think grey
Of the smoke from the chimney
The leftovers of an ash tray
But it remains the colour of the wise
For it is neither black nor is it white
They would never know what you feel
You think gold
So pure and precious
Shines brightly whether new or old
But in spite of its flawlessness reflected on the surface
It represents a greed which runs in the blood of human race
They would never know what you feel
You think white
A colour so true that it defines purity
Yet it is one devoid of any other colours
It is what makes it so empty
They would never know what you feel
