One attempt for JEE Main 2019 is already over in January. The attention of all the candidates is now shifted towards the second attempt which is going to take place in April. The application form for the second attempt in April released on February 8. Some of the students have already given the exam. Important Details Regarding the Exam
The National Testing Agency will be conducting the second leg of JEE Main 2019. The application form for the same is now available on the official website of JEE Main. Candidates can fill the forms till March 7th. The second attempt exam will be held from 6th April to 20th April. There are certain eligibility criteria which you have to adhere to while filling up the form.
There is an age limit for students appearing for the exam. The people belonging to the general category should be born on or after 1st October 1994. While for SC/ST and PwD category there is an age limit relaxation of 5 years. Students should have studied at least 5 core subjects in class 12th or in the qualifying exam in 2017 or 2018 are only eligible for the exams. Candidates who have studied only 4 subjects are not permitted to sit in the exam. Furthermore, students who are planning to appear for 12th in 2019 can also apply for the exam.
Steps to Follow
- Start by logging in the official website of JEE mains.
- Here you will find a login window, where you need to apply through your ID and password.
- After this, you need to click on Apply for the JEE Main 2019.
- This will directly direct you to the page where you can proceed and apply for the exam online.
- After completing all the steps you will be taken to a window which will ask details like identification ID, eligibility state, photo proof identification, date of birth, the name of the student, security PIN, and gender.
- After filling out all of these details click on the register under the form.
Candidates Must Remember
There are certain things that you need to take care of while applying the form online.
Initially, the candidate has to register and authenticate themselves on the website. For this, you need to register yourself online by providing all the required details. After you have logged in the website using the credentials, enter the details that are required for the JEE Main form. Once you have filled out all the necessary details, you will be redirected to another page. On this page, you will be asked to upload the documents. These documents need to scanned and signed by you.
Now you need process the application fee for the JEE main for the second attempt in April. This can be done online or offline. Once you have paid the fees, you will submit it and receive an acknowledgment from JEE. It is advisable that you take out a print of this acknowledgment. This printout can be useful if there is some discrepancy at the time of the exam.
