Amchi Programme is an outreach humanitarian effort conducted in Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, India. It is aimed at providing direct dental care to the local population and at identifying people within the population who can be trained in primary healthcare until they may begin to independently provided direct care. The programme is the result of a collaborative effort between the European Dental Students’ Association(EDSA) and Manipal University.
As a fundraising event for the same, a French-themed food fest is being organised by Amchi Committee 2014 in association with Welcome Group Acedemy of Culinary Arts (WACA) by the name of ‘Le Grande Saveur’.
The phrase Le Grande Saveur translates into ‘the great flavour’; and promising to be true to its name, an enticing five-course meal awaits to be savoured by your taste buds as you relish in the delightful ambience of the evening.
