First Date?Dress to Impress!

First date is one of the most exciting and nerve wrecking events of a girl’s life.Guys have it easier,when it comes to dressing up, and we don’t need more than the Academy Awards to prove that fact.It is important that you carry yourself in a way you are comfortable in as well as make a fine impression.Its tough business,but not impossible. So ladies here are some tips  out of the anecdotes of epic dates through the ages:

• KNOW YOUR AMBIANCE – Find out before attending your date where it will be, so that you know what sort of clothes will be appropriate. For example, if you’re going to the local pub or taking rides, your jeans and a colorful kurti or t-shirt would work well, whereas going to a posh restaurant would require an elegant evening outfit.Having a funky stole with the kurti or a classy scarf with the evening outfit can work wonders,and if its cold it can help you stay warm.

 

 

 

• CHOOSE COLOURS WHICH SUIT YOU WELL – Go for bright colours not necessarily!Go for dark colours like brown or black if you are fair or a bit on the plump side.For medium skin tone colour,you can try purple or Prussian blue.If you are a splitting image of Halle Berry,you can try beige or teal .Prefer a color that you know brings out the very best in you.You can choose colours which will play up your eyes.For blue eyes ,white or sky blue looks amazing.Brown eyes are mesmerizing with warmer hues of green.

•   MAKE-UP NOT BUILD -UP !- A good idea for a date is to choose lips or eyes – go dramatic on one, but not both. Avoid wearing anything too heavy. You want to look like a glowing version of your usual self.Shower directly before you get dressed. Moisturize with a scented lotion afterward.A bit of blush would work wonders if you don’t have much of cheekbones.Use foundation which melds  with your skin tone.

  

  

   

• Finish up your outfit. Shoes and accessories complete the rest of your outfit. . Wear either heavy earrings and a plain pendant or just a simple brooch could look classic too.As for shoes,you can wear stilettos with almost anything,but only if you can carry them.Its not mandatory to be that way,strap sandals can be teamed with skirts,boots can go well with skinny fit jeans.

The most important ornament which you should be wearing is your own smile.Yes other things do matter,but I still believe a great smile can be enough to capture his heart.So go on and have some fun!
