When you have a secret crush, you cannot stop thinking about that special person. The truth is one day you will look back on that secret crush fondly and remember the butterflies in your stomach and the pounding of your heart with a gleam in your eye. As true as this may be, it is hard to see the future when you are stuck in the chaotic whirlwind of your crush.
Having a crush is something really very special, you can smile like an innocent kid, whenever you see them and guess what no one’s going to judge you for that. And even if someone does that, you’re smart enough to ignore that because you know that, thinking about what people think will ruin the essence of your unknowingly developing feelings.
You’ll try to talk to them but hey, wait.
You just can’t go to them and start being Chandler Bing or Ross Geller, I mean you should do some homework at least, of what you should say and what you shouldn’t! I know that’s a bit planning and plotting but at the end of the day, you don’t want to seem dumb in front of someone you adore a lot!
You might look for those small little chances, or should I say signs, that we believe God has given us and eventually you start believing in destiny. That’s how a new human being starts emerging from an already existing person, and that’s something special, and if you feel it, it’s nothing less than a Re-Birth.
You start participating in a lot more extra-curricular activities, just to make sure, you get noticed by them. And that’s how, you’ll not only develop a better personality, but you’ll end up having a lot more socializing skills. And, if you’re lucky, you’ll definitely get the required amount of attention from your crush as well!
You make sure not to miss any class anymore because that’s where you interact, and even if they aren’t there, you can be their savior by providing them with the notes and concepts. And again unknowingly, you not only improve your attendance but your studies as well. Seems like a good deal.. doesn’t it? It’s not, it’s something which cannot be traded and it’s yours, only yours.
You get to know the smallest shops and less renowned places because you’ve got to be prepared for what’s been asked, obviously by your crush and that’s how you know a lot more places now than you used to know initially which ultimately helps you whenever someone from your friend circle needs any assistance, and you’re a Saviour again!
But the most precious thing about having a crush is:
While doing all these activities, not only will you become a person but you’ll also be the one who’s everywhere and that’s how your life gets a kick and, while doing all this, someone will definitely find you intriguing and will end up having a crush on you! And that’s how the cycle repeats!
