TAPMI, Manipal received Silver Award at Indian Management Conclave ? 2014, held at New Delhi recently. Indian Management Conclave, popularly known as IMC, was launched in 2010, which is an MBAUniverse.com initiative as an annual event. It has established its presence as India’s biggest and most reputed MBA Education conference. IMC Awards were initiated in 2013 to highlight best-practices at B-Schools which is a great success now.
The theme for 5th Indian Management Conclave 2014 was ?Envisioning the Future? of Indian MBA education, it was held in New Delhi on August 8 & 9, 2014. Eminent speakers from leading Indian & foreign B-Schools like Dr Howard Thomas, Dean, LKC SB, Singapore Management University, Dr Ricardo A. Lim, Dean, Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila; Dr Ashish Nanda, Director, IIM Ahmedabad; Dr SS Mantha, Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and many more were invited to participate in IMC 2014.

IMC Awards 2014 promised participation from 100+ B-schools & Universities under four different themes: 1) Expanding Applicant Pool 2) Innovations in Curriculum 3) Innovations in Pedagogy and 4) Deepening Industry Institute Engagement.
TAPMI was one of the finalist under Theme1: Expanding applicant pool. Prof. Chowdari Prasad Dean PR & Chairman-Admissions presented ?Experience TAPMI? on Admissions 2014 and won Silver award for innovative methods and digital campaign for admissions. Prof. Chowdari Prasad received the Silver award from Dr. Subramanian Swamy (former union Cabinet Minister) at the valedictory session of 5th Indian Management Conclave on August 9 in New Delhi. Mr. Sunil Kant Munjal, Jt. MD, Hero Motor Corp. was the Key Note Speaker. Other winners in different themes were from Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communications, Pune; Jaipuria Institute of Management Group; MICA; NMIMS University, Mumbai; Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University (BHU); S P Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai & IIM Shillong.
Global publisher McGraw Hill will be publishing a book on ?IMC 2014 Conference Proceedings? that will document and highlight learnings from each case studies of the IMC Award Winners. With the help of this publication, hundreds of B-schools will be also learn and adopt these best-practices.
