The admissions process for the 2011-13 batch at the B-schools have entered full gear with the relief provided by the Honourable Supreme Court of India recently. The B-school fraternity is very well aware of the fact that this relief against the AICTE notification is only for this year, as the Supreme Court will give its final verdict in the coming months.
In view of this the Education Promotion Society for India (EPSI) is organizing a meeting of the Chairmen/Directors of PGDM Institutions across the country on Friday, April 8, 2011 in New Delhi. The meeting will formulate the strategy for further movement, post the interim stay granted by the Supreme Court, against the AICTE notification.
Dr. Harivansh Chaturvedi, Alternate President, EPSI and Director, BIMTECH Greater Noida told MBAUniverse.com, “In view of ongoing litigation at Hon’ble Supreme Court, all PGDM institutions need to join hands to put maximum efforts to get the final verdict in our favour on admission, fee, board’s constitution and all other matters related to the autonomy engaged by PGDM institutions during the last so many decades.”
