We ran the Paranormal Romance contest from 20th August to 30th August, 2013; and received 37 entries via email from all over India.
Entries submitted was judged by Neelima Vinod author of ‘Unsettled’, a staff member of MMMC, Manipal and one of the editors of ManipalBlog Mangalore.
The criteria for judging were- Content, Relativity to topic, Creativity/Originality, Grammar/Vocabulary, Flash fiction rules & guidelines, Adherence to word limit and 20% weightage was given for the amount of Facebook likes and traffic generated on the article.
We would like to congratulate the three winners –
- 1st Prize of Rs 1500: Entry no 20– Dr. Namrata Adhauliya, Alumni, MCODS, Mangalore.
- 2nd Prize of Rs 1000: Entry no 32– Till death do us apart by Shweta Sinha-Ghaziabad, UttarPradesh.
- 3rd Prize of Rs 500: Entry no 11– Mirror mirror on the wall- Monalisha Chowdhury, New Delhi.
The author was very happy with the response to the contest and would like to thank all our participants and congratulate the winners.
We request all the winners to mail us their Account details, so that their money could be transferred. All the participants would receive an e-certificate of appreciation from ManipalBlog, Mangalore.
Also each contestant gets direct entry to our recruitment-drive scheduled to take place on 8th of September, 2013 at City center, Mangalore.
