Like any small town or village, Manipal too has a big brother watching over it (or from below in this case). Manipal lies on a small hillock overlooking the Udupi town, which is famous for the Lord Krishna temple and also for the chain of Udupi restaurants across the length and breadth of India.
This photo is of the Town (or is it city?) square of Udupi. The tower in the middle has a clock, that till a few years ago was the usual analogue variety, but with the changing time (pun intended) has now gone digital.
Bejai was indeed a fun place! 🙂
so both manipal and mangalore students are placed in the Bejai hostel for the first year……………………….
