After a midnight high-drama that saw the Congress-JDS coalition run to the Supreme Court at midnight to bring a stay on Yeddyurappa’s swearing-in ceremony, the Chief Justice appointed a Special 3 Judge Bench for the hearing. The back and forth discussion ended with the apex court refusing to go against the Governor’s decision of inviting the BJP to form the government. The floor test however will be conducted on Monday as opposed to 15 days later putting the BJP in a pinch!
