Prisons 101 was an hour of dark talk infused with some solid humour. 9 speakers took upon themselves to enlighten their audience about some of the shadiest and also some of the coolest prisons in existence. While the speakers primarily focused on painting a correct picture of the prison environment in the minds of the listener, they managed to keep the room alive and attentive with just the right amount of humour. There were also talks about some attempted and successful jailbreaks and the event concluded with saying that while most prisons today make punishment, rather than reform, their main objective, we must not forget that prisoners are also human beings. Overall the event was a massive success and has left us waiting to see what Blank 101 has in store next.
