Kasturba Hospital, Manipal won the award for Green Hospital recognized by AHPI (Association of Healthcare Providers (AHPI) India) on its 6th Global Conclave on “Outcome Based Healthcare Delivery system held at Hotel Radisson Blue Kaushambi (Delhi NCR) on 15th-16thFebruary 2019.
The award was received from Honourable Union Minister of State for External Affairs Gen V.K Singh PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd) and Hon Member of Parliament Mr. Anil Agrawal by the team from Kasturba Hospital, Manipal lead by Mr. C G Muthana- Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Avinash Shetty- Medical Superintendent , Mr. Jibu Thomas, Senior Manager- Operations, and Senior Executive- Ms. Jobita Barnes who coordinated the complete Audit Process during the Application and Inspection of the Hospital by AHPI Authorities and Auditors.
Dr. Avinash Shetty Medical Superintendent said that this is another great feat of achievement for the Hospital for its environment friendly initiatives being carried out for years, the results of which has been nationally acknowledged now ,he also said that the hospital will continue to strive towards more energy saving and conservation techniques in the Hospital operations.
