The loudest Cheers were reserved for ManipalBlog Blogger and Dean of Branding, TAPMI, Manipal - Professor Chowdari Prasad!
And it was that day again.
In that isolated island called TAPMI which has seen a lot of stirring lately, the new batch is finally here.
In a new building, in a new auditorium, a newer, bigger, fresher batch of aspiring MBA graduates have landed on the shores of the mystical land Manipal… and after really ‘understanding’ what we mean by raining cats and dogs finally showcased the preliminary sortie of talent that they have and will be putting to good use over the next few months. Oh! Did I say few? Let’s make it interminably long months.
Quick bonds, and strategic alliances and regional comradeship, very few real ‘ friendship’ and yet with a short time span and a heavy work load, they did manage to churn out a good fare. Music pieces, the’ must-have’ instrument guy (guitarist), the dancers, the road shows, and off course, the booing (of encouragement) of the seniors… 😉
All in all, went down pretty well as one of the more successful induction programmes of the college.
And the  coup de grâce was coaxing our Dean of Branding to come on stage and hum a few lines that had the entire audience standing and applauding!

PS: The confusion of namesake has to be avoided in the byline…lol
Thanks to the senior batch of PGP2 at TAPMI cheering and welcoming their juniors in a big number at the conclusion of Induction cum Orientation on two days – June 25 and 26 and before they embark on serious class room studies from June 27. Â I could not resist but join them in festive mood by humming my own and old favourites but of evergreen interest to all. Thanks also due to ManipalBlog for including all the photos and write up covering TAPMI event and making the newcomers to Manipal comfortable…… Let us keep the show go on and on……this way.
