The “Idea Conclave for Better Environment” with the Theme Conserving the Ecologically Rich Heritage of the Western Ghats is being organised by Students for Development, Mangaluru Division in association with Environmental Management and Policy Research Institute (EMPRI) Bengaluru and MIT NSS & Department of Civil Engineering MIT Manipal, on the 12th and 13th of March, 2024 at Manipal Institute of Technology.
The two-day Program will feature Keynote Speakers from Research, Academia, and the Forest Departments, various competitions around the theme, and a Biodiversity Tour to Seethanadi Nature Camp with multiple activities planned for the participants.
This is being organised as an initiative of the Environmental Education Program of EMPRI, a Unit of the Government Of Karnataka Forest Ecology Environment Department.
Interested students from Manipal, Udupi, Mangaluru, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu, Hassan, and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply and participate in the Conclave. Applications are open at https://bit.ly/icbe24.
