Every kid loves fairy tales. It has a happily ever after ending which doesn’t exist. Many of these stories teach us courage, patience, persistence and goodness triumphs over evil lessons.
Now …. At some point of time, all of us might have come across “childhood ruined” posts on social networking sites.
As I was thinking about it lazily, a question popped up “Aren’t adults being hypocrites by teaching kids that life is all nice?”. Shouldn’t we also make the kids aware of the evils prevalent in our society. Apart from motivation and perspective of life aspect, shouldn’t the original version (which has tragic endings or is unbelievably cruel) which was made into “fairy tales” told to kids???

Since molesting & raping children are going up around the world as days pass because of their vulnerability and lack of awareness of evil eyes lusting after them. Shouldn’t they be made more aware of what can happen to them and how to be careful?
After all, people say that you are not in a fairy tale ( modified or original version?) hope they mean the original version because Ariel-the mermaid dies/commits suicide, sleeping beauty was raped in her sleep, the evil queen was Snow-white’s real mother, the wolf kills little red riding hood & eats her, Rapunzel’s lover is pushed out of the tower when the witch discovers Rapunzel is pregnant.

Moral of the story :- Fairy tales are just another “fairy tale” – it doesn’t exist… (Sadly…)
