What hasn’t been told about a place which is one the most densely populated places in the world with a small landscape on an island accounting to be the most prosperous and one of the busiest ports in the world- welcome to Singapore!
Before travelling to a new place it is usual for someone to go through brochures and look up about the place on the net. But I think I am not going to promote a place which needs no introduction but am going to show u around a few places that I had been to and my experiences with that place.
From the time we land into a new place till we leave it and take back all the memories of it with us we have the never ending anticipation of viewing all we can or visit every place possible in the given span of time.
From its breathtaking views of modern architecture inspired by nature to the natural gardens that grow lavishly and are maintained so well the city just looks impeccable and is just fresh and awaiting for the new faces that arrive to share its glory.
For a developed country I think Singapore is pretty much over the top with its civilized culture and its value to maintain everything they own to make it one of the most visited places on the tourist list.
We visited Marina bay in the evening which was the sea that connected the city to port from the olden days. Now this place is something that is most visited in Singapore specially to witness the Merlion that stands out in white white and blue being the centre of attraction for every person.
Apart from the Merlion the other attraction of the marina bay is the Asplanade theatre, the Singapore flyer and the majestic Marina Bay Sands hotel which stood out from the rest of the city rested in the middle of the sea and was just a marvel of architecture which definitely is perfection to the maximum. I recommend visiting the place at night when the lights go on making it even more attractive.
I being a nature fanatic some how persuaded my dad to take me to the botanical gardens in Singapore. I can not forget the place till date. I think it is a place every person who loves nature and plants should definitely visit.
Orchids are the treat wherever you go as it is grown best in that climate. And I was surprised by the diversity of orchids this place has, varying in so many colors, designs and sizes.
The Jurong bird park was the place I go to see penguins for the 1st time. They were the cutest little creatures very friendly and very entertaining.
The birds are trained in this park and they put up shows with the trained birds that sing songs and talk to the audience which was worth the time and was the most entertaining show I have seen so far apart from the dolphin show.
Sentosa island is the place which has all the adventurous rides, the indoor fish aquarium, Universal Studios and resorts, and the best water fountains how called the Songs of the Sea.
No vacation is complete without shopping and Singapore being on the shopping abodes, I really liked the charm bracelets and anklets, and not forget the gold fish pendent.
I still recall walking on the orchard road on the Christmas night mesmerized by all the lights and the show and the decorated place full of life all geared up for the festive season.
When it comes to celebration and art I think this place really knows how to combine all the colors and put up a simple piece into an epic style of its own.
For many reasons a trip that holds a place close to your heart is because of what you take back in the form of souvenirs that r remembered in the form of fond memories.
I hope you enjoyed reading the article and its just a small glimpse of what I experienced. I highly recommend it a visit at some point of your life. Thank you for reading.
