The stage 1 of Cosmicon event Invasion started off at NLH today. It was a quiz round which tested the basic chemistry, physics, biology and astronomy concepts of the participating teams. The quiz will be a deciding factor in the qualification of the teams in the second stage which will be a more rigourous quiz round which will test the knowledge of the team members in astrobiology. The qualifying teams will reach the final stage which will be a face off in which teams will have to identify the specifications of a given specie referring to a given habitat in stipulated time. Failing at this will lead to the ‘invasion’ of that specie and reduction in the points. The final round takes place on Saturday.
