The first trimester

During the first trimester, you will feel quite exhausted even after doing minimal tasks. You can also experience some symptoms of PMS during the time when you usually expect your periods. The first three months of pregnancy are considered to be the most sensitive time and it is better to keep in touch with your doctor. The second trimester

The second trimester is comparatively better than the first one, as morning sickness fades out. Also, mothers to-be feel lot more energetic, and from this time onwards, you start gaining weight. Many first-time moms, do not feel the movement of their baby till they are 20 weeks pregnant and it is perfectly normal. The second trimester is quite crucial for the development of the major organs of the baby in your womb. It is very important that you go for regular check-ups during this phase. The third trimester

Entering the third-trimester means, you are almost there to hold your child in your hands for the very first time. The level of discomfort is quite much during this phase and you may also find it tough to get some sleep. You will also start gaining weight at a fast pace. As your due date draws nearer, the opening of the cervix will open and your baby will start descending. Throughout the third trimester, visit your doctor every two weeks.

It is always better to listen to your doctor and get admitted to the hospital, before your experience labor pain. Post-delivery, besides nursing your newborn, is important and you need to take good care of yourself as well. Proper medicines, supplements, and diet are the keywords to get back to your normal life.
