The sweet Sharayu to my left
The Hindu Maha Sagar to my right
Like the white swan I swim
Amid these two streams
With Vaayu in between
In ecstatic delight
(Marvante is a beautiful village on the Mumbai-Mangalore highway and about 56 kilometers from Manipal. It is on the river bank of Sharayu, adjoining the Arabian Sea. Vaayu is the Wind god)
