Post the healthcare reform, there is a reduction in the number of uninsured adults which is a good sign for the country. Especially in those states which expanded Medicaid, there was a greater decrease in the number of adults without any insurance policy.
  • Despite getting insured, there are still too many people who don’t get the proper care. 58% of the American adults who are suffering from some kind of mental illness don’t get the required treatment. Maine is a state which has got the best access to treatments and services but there too, 45% of the adults with mental disorders are left untreated.
