Spain, the strong favorite will take on France in the third quarter-final of Euro 2012 tomorrow at Donetsk, Ukraine. This is one of the most eagerly awaited games of this years Euro Cup and promises to be a thriller.

The two teams have had contrasting routes to the quarter-finals. Spain as predicted topped the group C though the match against Croatia for the defending champion La Roja might have sounded warning bells as to their fallibility when the defence of the opposition team holds up to the scrutiny of the Spain attack. None of the all-star Spanish squad have played outstanding till now but they have the potential to beat any nation with incredible talent and plenty of experience.

France‘s survival on the other hand came with lessons learned from Sweden and due to a promising England team beating Ukraine and clearing their path to the Quarter-finals. And it does seem that the lack of leadership from Frank Ribery and his poor form in the mid-field may have an adverse impact on their progression beyond the Quarter-finals.
