Reality and Realisation

We search for reality
Like a deer lost in the forest,
At the verge of insanity
Looking around for its dearest;

Unable to comprehend
What’s in our hands,
We tend to pretend
Everything is due to chance;

Blind we stay to the beauty around
Forever we remain deep in the ground,
We see life, but close our eyes
Loving to be in the darkness inside;

Mortals we are on this perishing earth
Life as short as the kiss of death,
When will we realise life is precious
Before we waste it, being atrocious.
