Poem: You will die tomorrow

http://vimeo.com/livetoday

Hey you
Postponing your dreams
Killing them slowly
Watching them grow old
You will die tomorrow

You will die tomorrow
I don’t know why
Nobody ever knows
The God of death cries
You will be mine tomorrow

You will be mine tomorrow
That’s what you said
When you saw her
Scared to confess
You will cry tomorrow

You will cry tomorrow
When you see the end
Ruing that you never lived
Taking things for granted
Hoping you won’t be shy tomorrow

Hoping you won’t be shy tomorrow
You never let it go
Trapped in your thoughts
Feeling miserable
Living a lie called tomorrow

Living a lie called tomorrow
You saved the pennies
Insulting the joys that came on way
Loathing the time
Thinking about buying tomorrow

And that’s how it always ends
Regrets and unfulfilled wishes
Things you wanted the most
But never had the courage
Sowing the fake seeds of thy tomorrow

Happiness is truth and is inside
Never insult today
Taking next day for granted
Live everyday to the fullest
Before you die tomorrow

  1. Good one Tanmay!

“And that’s how it always ends

    Regrets and unfulfilled wishes

    Things you wanted the most

    But never had the courage

Sowing the fake seeds of thy tomorrow ”

Reminds me – ‘You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.’
