80% say Will not retire on Saturday!

This WC was branded right from the beginning as the ‘WIN IT FOR SACHIN’ tournament. India’s unconvincing road to the knockouts created enough doubts among billions whether the ultimate scalp in the Gentleman’s game will ever be lifted by the infallible Legend. Now just one step away, and a semi final effort as convincing as ever, It is only India’s to lose now.

Sachin was never and never will be a man of numbers.. but to the billions of fans all across the globe, we would rather see him complete 100 hundreds AND WIN the world cup.

Some of our readers did see signs of emotional disturbance on his face yesterday! Possibly contemplating retirement!

  1. To be honest, yesterday more than sachin,it's RAINA who deserved Man of the Match award or else Misbah Ul Haq for eating too many balls while umar akmal was mauling our bowling at the other end….

Yesterday was a bad day for GOD of cricket…Hope he comes good in final …

  2. @anon: I have to disagree my friend. If any person deserved an MOTM, it was a splendid Wahab Riaz, bowling on a flat track, left arm genuine pace and taking prized scalps at regular intervals, restricting India to a par total, almost negative the out of the world start which Viru bhai gave us.

MOM is given to the winning team generally unless the performances in the other team is exceptional.Wahab's performance isn't that exceptional as two of his 5 wickets were of tail enders(Zaheer and DhoNi)…But in this match,Sachin didn't deserve it he used up too many balls and also he got four reprieves…Raina truly deserves MOM…
