How to Bare Your Legs Without Looking Like a Slut

Long legs in a bath
When you get out of the bath, the temperature drop will help you to feel sleepy and reduce fever.

There’s a fine line that divides skanky from sexy and unfortunately, most women have a tough time telling the difference. Maybe I’m just jealous and mean, but when I go out at night and see all these girls in short shorts and miniskirts, I have to repress the urge to scream, “Skank! Skank! Skaaank!” It’s not so much the fact that they’re baring their legs that makes them look like sluts; it’s the way they put their whole outfit together. It took me a couple of times to get it right (and several arguments with my mom that involved me storming back into my bedroom to change into something more “decent”), but I think I’ve finally figured out the trick to showing off those legs without looking like a cheap hooker. And thank God for that too! The skirt I’m wearing right there cost me an insane amount of money (even with a 50% discount).

Make sure that the skirt or shorts you’re wearing actually covers your entire ass. Nothing screams “HOOKER!” louder than your butt cheeks peeking below the hemline.

Avoid wearing skirts or shorts that are so tight and clingy, you can barely walk in them. Not only are you going to feel extremely uncomfortable, your thighs are probably going to bulge out and that’s not sexy at all.

The objective of looking “sexy” is to show off a certain amount of flesh without revealing too much. Pair your short shorts or skirt with a long sleeved top. Your covered-up arms will strike very nice balance with your bare legs. Alternately, a very loose top will work as well.

Don flats; if you must wear heels, make sure they’re only an inch tall. Heels and stilettos are already sexy enough on their own. Pair them with a short skirt or shorts, and there’s just too much sexiness going on right there that you cross the border from classy to slutty.

Keep your make-up simple and stick to neutral colors.  Again, there’s already a lot going on when you bare your legs.  If you put on heavy eyeshadow and false eyelashes, I’m willing to bet that guys are going to approach you–not to ask for your number, but to ask how much you cost for the night.
