  1. Soothing eye masks

If you suffer from bags under eyes like I do, you will also begin to swear by soothing eye masks. Your eyes will receive different nourishing ingredients that will add moisture, refinement, and radiance to your tired looking eyes.

Your bags will be no more. You do not need to spend a fortune on them either. I have seen them range for as little as $3 a pair up to $75. All you need to do is make sure they add moisture to your eyes.

  1. Tea bags

I feel as though this is one of the oldest tricks in the books. Our grandmothers told us, our mothers swear by it, and now I am telling you that it does in fact work. You have probably tried it and thought that it could not be right.

Well, did you try it with hot, warm or cooled tea bags? If you said anything but cool tea bags, you did it incorrectly. Also, make sure to use black tea bags. They contain caffeine that will make your blood vessels smaller and thus minimizes puffiness and dark skin under your eyes.

There is also one other ingredient in the black tea bags – tannins. This ingredient helps in circulation that will tighten your skin. See, mom and grandma were correct.

  1. Eye Cream

You probably think what the best eye cream you can use is. I recommend one with caffeine in it! Many eye creams are all the same; this is why it is important to look for caffeine in the ingredients and to make sure you store your eye cream in the refrigerator.

Yes, I said the refrigerator. For best results, you will want to make sure that your eye cream is cool before putting it under your eyes. If this is not the most effortless way to get rid of black circles under your eyes, then I do not know what is!

  1. Put a spoon in the freezer

I take it we all have spoons that are not made of plastic, correct? All you need to do is put a spoon (teaspoon or tablespoon, your choice) and put it in the freezer. I recommend you put it in at night before going to bed, and then when you wake up take it out and put it on your dark circles.

The frigid temperature of the spoon will constrict blood vessels thus minimizing the swelling under your eyes. Be careful not to pull an incident like in a certain Christmas movie and get your skin stuck on the spoon.

Be sure to allow it to warm up a bit before putting it on such thin skin.

  1. Keep your head elevated

I am not advising you to sleep sitting up, but I do advise you maybe add another pillow to your bed to help elevate your head ever so slightly. When you elevate your head, it apparently minimizes the amount of liquid that gathers underneath your eyes.

Sounds quite disgusting, right? When you keep your head boosted with the extra pillows, you are helping to eliminate any extra puffiness to gather and make dark circles under your eyes.

It may take a bit of time to adjust to the extra pillows, but if you want to get rid of those pesky dark circles, this is an easy way to do it.

So those are my five effortless tips to eliminate dark circles under your eyes. Some seem a bit odd, and some have been around for centuries. Either way, they are sure to work. Get trying today! You will be glad that you did!
