I wait for time, to stop in her presence

And the day passed by
Minutes and hours , with their evil grin and hostile intent ;
Laughing at my peril , as I wait for time ,
To stop in her presence

Every second crushing my insides
Crumbling , my heart into pieces
Every second passing by ,
Taking away my hope

I look at the door
As if magic is bound to occur
Appearing, her gracious form, in front of my weary eyes

I close my eyes, unwilling to see the world , Without her existence ;
My ears stay awake ,
For the sound of her voice ,
To reach my withering senses

And the day passed by ,
Only to welcome the darkest night ,
Shadows and stars , laughing at me
As I wait for the sky to cease to exist
In her presence …
